Some people with migraine have initial symptoms such as diarrhoea, numbness and wavy lines.

After those early symptoms go away, the second phase of symptoms follows thumping or throbbing headache, sensitivity to light, noise and smell, pain on one side (may swap sides),dehydration, thirst or pins and needles. It's not the case that all symptoms have to be present.
